The San Diego community was treated to a day of Panamanian culture at the San Marcos Cultural Festival in March 2009.
Held an exciting First Annual Sarao Dance on May, 9, 2009 at Tango Del Rey.
Sold food at the Ethnic Food Fair in May 2009.
Distributed scholarship applications in June 2009 with a deadline of August 20, 2009.
Celebrated our Panamanian Heritage at the Lawn Program in BalboaPark in August 2009.
Enjoyed a night of dancing during the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the House of Panama at the Hilton San Diego Airport Hotel on November 14, 2009.
Awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Alessa Guerrero, a UC Davis freshman, at the House of Panama Board Meeting on December 19, 2009.
Renewed our 501(c)3 Charitable Organization Status with the Internal Revenue Service and the State of California.
